As a soon-to-be Ph.D. in political science with advanced training in both quantitative and qualitative research, as well as the Arabic language, I am seeking to transition towards a career in policy or industry. I am excited to apply the skills I have developed as a doctoral researcher, including analysis, technical writing, editing, grant writing, and project management, to new challenges.
My passion lies in Middle East policy, security, and defense issues, though I am open to expanding my knowledge to other regions and issues within the field of international affairs.
With excellent communication, organizational, evaluation, critical thinking, leadership, and mentorship skills, I take pride in being personable, patient, empathetic, flexible, and dependable. While I work well in groups, I am also highly independent and can work with minimal supervision. I am committed to being a lifelong learner and am always eager to acquire new skills and knowledge.
At present, I am searching for job opportunities in the Washington, DC area. However, I am also interested in remote work or positions located in the MENA region. I am fluent in English and Spanish, proficient in Arabic, and learning French. Therefore, I am also open to opportunities in places where any of these languages are spoken.
